A Tale of Two Queen Cities will explore the impacts of Latino immigration upon the cultural landscapes of two distinct but related locations: Charlotte, NC and Los Angeles, CA. This project will organize a group of UNC-Charlotte students to create a digital mural parallel to those created by students at Woodbury College in California.

QC2 West - A First Stab
Hello Charlotte.
This is a collage I put together relating to LA culture. Please comment...

hi Chris the image looks promising. are you planning to hand it off to someone else to continue working? I don't want to influence the direction of the work so that the next author feels that she or he has a wide range of options ahead. I would only say that text, texture, and layers can be your friends in this project so work with them feverously!
Jose, it is my understanding that this will be passed around. Good point about 'keeping your eye on the road ahead'.
Chris, the image looks good, like I mentioned on Saturday at my studio, I love the manipulations of the background (bringing in the painting that we worked on last semester is genius!), I think the foreground images can also be manipulated as well. Remember, a good image will have a clear 'foreground, middleground and background'. Enjoy.
